Our process
Visionary Planning and Menu Crafting
The HSG onboarding team meets with the hotel lifestyle group or F&B management to discuss their vision for the minibars.
Procurement and Preparation
HSG gets to work, procuring the inventory and setting up a minibar team.
Service Initiation
Minibar staff begin checking rooms, following housekeeping protocols for knocking and announcing themselves. Sales are entered onto their iPads equipped with HSG proprietary software. Products are replenished and the minibar and trays cleaned as necessary. Depending on the hotel’s Property Management System and preference, the minibar charges will be entered to the guests’ folios automatically through the HSG software, manually entered by minibar staff or emailed to the Night Auditor to enter.
Performance Evaluation
HSG regularly reviews the menu to ensure that all products are performing optimally and tweaks products accordingly with approval from the hotel.
Continuous Innovation
New, innovative products and brands are introduced frequently to keep the minibar fresh and distinct.
